GR-BG BUSINESS PASSPORT

GR-BG BUSINESS PASSPORT (Greek Bulgarian Business Partnership by Assistance, Services, Solutions to Promote Open Regions Team) is a cross-border project aimed at creating a dynamic environment for promoting innovation, technological development, and entrepreneurship in the cross-border area of Greece and Bulgaria.

In an era of continuous changes in production and consumer patterns, the project addresses the need of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) to enhance their competitiveness by focusing on quality, originality, and know-how transfer. By connecting research and education with the production process, GR-BG BUSINESS PASSPORT supports the creation of new, viable businesses and the retention of jobs in the region.

As part of the project’s activities, incubator labs, educational material, and interactive business intelligence tools are being developed, with a particular emphasis on cross-border networking (B2B meetings) and the provision of advisory services (coaching & mentoring) to support innovative ideas. The Institute for Development of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace actively participated in the implementation of these actions, while also providing comprehensive technical and financial support to the International Hellenic University (IHU) for the effective monitoring and management of the project.
